Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what information IdeaPict collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. IdeaPict is a venture-planning and decision-support tool that helps founders develop ideas into actionable plans. It runs on the Base44 platform.

We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide the service, to be transparent about how it is used, and to respect your ownership of the information you enter.

IdeaPict is operated by KidsCare, a sole proprietorship based in Washington State, United States. In this policy, “IdeaPict,” “we,” and “us” refer to KidsCare.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by the platform’s authentication system and are not accessible to IdeaPict in readable form. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address and name that the provider shares with us. Your account also has a role (such as user or admin) used to manage access within the app.

Venture information you enter voluntarily. To use IdeaPict, you describe your idea, venture, or existing business. This includes information such as the venture name, description, location, beneficiaries, goals, funding needs, and notes you choose to add. You control how much detail to share, and you can explore IdeaPict with a fictional or generalized idea before entering information about a real venture.

Payment information. Paid features are processed by Stripe. Your payment-card details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by IdeaPict. We receive limited transaction records from Stripe (such as a customer identifier, subscription identifier, and purchase status) so we can grant and manage your access.

Authentication provider information. When you use Google or Apple to sign in, those providers authenticate you and share the information they choose to provide (typically your email address and name). Apple may provide a private relay email address that forwards messages to your real email while keeping it private; we treat that address like any other account email.

Contest and promotional entries. When you choose to enter a contest or promotional form (for example, the IdeaPict for the WIN contest), we collect the information you submit on that form, such as your name, email, and entry content, along with referral information (such as source and campaign parameters from the entry link) that helps us understand how you found the contest.

Operational information. To run and secure the service, we collect information such as IP addresses (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), session identifiers, and records of actions taken within the app. We also record limited analytics events — such as page views and idea entries — using the Base44 platform’s built-in analytics. Only non-sensitive identifiers and categorical values (such as a venture identifier and the type of action) are sent; we do not send idea text, email, or AI output to analytics.

We use the information you provide to deliver IdeaPict features — building your venture workspace, generating plans and guidance, finding funding possibilities, creating documents, and providing coaching and progress tracking.

Account information is used to authenticate you, manage your access, and communicate with you about your account. Payment records are used to grant and maintain access to paid features. Operational information is used to secure the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems. Analytics events help us understand how the service is used and improve it.

We do not publicly expose your venture content. Venture records are restricted to your account. Access by IdeaPict and Base44 personnel is limited to authorized individuals who need it to provide support, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or operate the system — not general open access.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your private venture ideas for unrelated advertising or for unrelated processing beyond what is needed to provide the features you choose to use.

Information you enter is sent to AI model providers only when you choose to use an AI-powered feature (such as generating a plan, finding funding possibilities, creating a document, or using coaching). The information you provide for that feature is sent to the provider to generate your requested output.

Whether those AI providers retain your prompts or output, or use them for model training, depends on each provider’s terms and practices. We have not independently verified each provider’s retention or training practices. Before relying on any assumption about how AI providers handle your information, review the applicable provider’s terms or contact us.

IdeaPict does not sell your information. We share information only as needed to operate the service and as described in this policy:

• Base44 — the platform IdeaPict runs on. Base44 hosts your data and provides the infrastructure, database, and authentication services. Base44’s terms and privacy practices apply to data stored on the platform.
• Stripe — processes payments. Stripe handles your card information directly; IdeaPict does not see or store it.
• AI service providers — when you choose to use an AI-powered feature, the information you provide for that feature is sent to an AI model provider to generate a response, subject to that provider’s own terms.
• Google and Apple — when you use their sign-in options, authentication is handled by those providers according to their own policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of IdeaPict, its users, or others.

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where Base44 and our service providers operate. Because IdeaPict runs on the Base44 platform and uses third-party providers such as Stripe and AI model providers, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, subject to the safeguards and practices of the relevant service providers.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Venture records remain accessible to you even if a subscription expires or is cancelled — your plans, documents, and history are not removed when a paid subscription ends.

You can archive a venture to hide it from your active list while preserving its data. You can delete your account through the Account page (see below). Some records may be retained after deletion where required for legal, financial, or technical reasons, as described below.

Contest entries and operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to administer the contest, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app. When you delete your account:

• Your owned venture data — including ventures, plans, documents, coaching history, actions, funding reports, and related records — is deleted.
• Your entitlements (PlanAccess records) are deleted.
• Your support requests are deleted.
• Any active subscription is cancelled.
• A minimized audit record is retained for security and deduplication purposes. It contains only a timestamp, a generated reference ID, the deletion status, and an irreversible hash of your user ID — not your name, email, or original identifier.
• Records held by third parties outside IdeaPict — such as Stripe customer or subscription records — are subject to those providers’ own retention practices and are not controlled by the account deletion flow. You may need to contact the provider directly to request removal.
• The platform may retain certain deleted records for a limited recovery period before permanent deletion, as described in the platform’s own policies.

Marketing consent is optional. When you delete your account, you can choose whether to remain subscribed to occasional IdeaPict news and updates. If you opt in, your email is retained separately for marketing only; all other account data is deleted. If you do not opt in, a suppression record is created so your email is not re-subscribed or contacted in future.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time — separately from and without deleting your account — by contacting us at support@ideapict.com. Withdrawal does not affect any processing that was based on consent before you withdrew it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Base44 states that its data tables are encrypted. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we do not represent that data is end-to-end encrypted, that data is never accessed, or that the service is immune to all threats. Authorized individuals may access data when needed to provide support, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or operate the system.

We encourage you to avoid entering passwords, financial account details, government identification numbers, regulated personal data, or trade secrets into IdeaPict.

You can access and review your venture information within the app at any time. You can edit your venture details, archive ventures, and delete your account. You can cancel paid subscriptions at any time, and your one-time purchases remain accessible.

If you have signed in with Google or Apple, you can manage that connection through the provider’s own account settings.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or if you have questions about how your information is handled, contact us at support@ideapict.com or through the Support page in the app.

IdeaPict is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided information to us, contact us at support@ideapict.com so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and last-updated date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here so you can review them.
