Trust through straight answers
Your ideas, privacy & AI
Before you share an idea, you deserve to know what happens to it. These answers describe IdeaPict's current design and the Base44 platform it runs on.
Start broad. Keep your secret ingredients secret.
Do not enter passwords, financial account details, government identification numbers, regulated personal information, or trade secrets. A fictional, generalized, or redacted idea is enough to explore IdeaPict first.
Who can access submitted ideas?+
Venture records inside IdeaPict are restricted to your account and IdeaPict administrators. IdeaPict runs on Base44, so authorized Base44 personnel and service providers may process or access data when needed to operate, secure, support, or meet legal obligations. IdeaPict does not publish your venture publicly.
Are submitted ideas used to train any model?+
IdeaPict does not operate or train its own AI model on submitted ideas. However, Base44's current terms allow customer data to be used to maintain and improve its services, including training company software tools. Until stronger no-training protections are confirmed, do not submit trade secrets or details you are not comfortable sharing with the platform.
How are ideas stored and transmitted?+
Before you sign in and submit, the landing-page draft stays in your browser session on your device. After submission, venture data is stored in Base44 data tables connected to your account. Base44 states that its data tables are encrypted, but they are not end-to-end encrypted; authorized platform administrators may access data when necessary.
Can I permanently delete my idea?+
Unused intake drafts can currently be permanently deleted from the IdeaPict dashboard. Ventures that have progressed into planning or active use can currently be archived, but do not yet have self-service permanent deletion. Contact IdeaPict to request deletion. Base44 states that deleted table records may remain recoverable for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Does IdeaPict claim ownership or a licence to my idea?+
IdeaPict does not claim ownership of your idea or venture content. You remain responsible for protecting any intellectual property. Because IdeaPict runs on Base44, Base44's platform terms also apply and grant Base44 and its service providers a licence to host, process, maintain, and improve the service. Review those terms before submitting confidential or protectable details.
Can I explore with a fictional sample first?+
Yes. You can begin with a fictional, generalized, or redacted idea and leave out every distinctive detail. This lets you see how IdeaPict works before deciding whether to enter information about your real venture.
IdeaPict is committed to improving these protections. Platform terms and features can change, so the linked Base44 policies are the controlling source for Base44's current practices.
